Pooja Sengupta to represent Bangladesh in China

Turongomi Repertory Dance Theatre has long been one of the flagbearers of Bangladesh in the international dance arena. Led by Pooja Sengupta, the troupe's artistic director, they have represented the country in many prestigious dance festivals worldwide. This time, Pooja has been invited to the 2018 Annual Conference and International  Symposium on Dance Aesthetic Education to be held in Dunhuang, China. "To implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of Government of China, Beijing Dance Academy along with Capital Normal University, Beijing and Northwest Normal University are going to organize The 2018 Annual Conference and International Symposium on dance aesthetic education," says Pooja. She will be presenting a paper on the topic, "An analytical view on the Co-existence of Traditional and Innovative Methods of Dance Education". The event will take place from September 27-29.
