Chief whip blasts TIB for JS statement
Chief Whip ASM Feroz today blasted Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) for its study report on parliament sessions and termed it “part of an international conspiracy”.
Unveiling its study report in Dhaka on Sunday, TIB termed the present parliament a Putul Nacher Nattayashala (a stage for dancing dolls).
“TIB has dishonored the country’s constitution, parliament and people by making such comment. It is also tantamount to violation of the country’s constitution,” Feroz said in a written statement at a press briefing at the parliament complex this afternoon.
“TIB also dishonored the elected members of the parliament,” Feroz said, condemning the statement.
He retorted by saying: “TIB itself is a dancing doll.”
Feroz said TIB came up with such statement when two foreigners were killed and an attack was carried out on the eve of Tazia procession in Dhaka.
“It is nothing but a part of an international level conspiracy.”
TIB comment against the parliament is a blatant lie, unrealistic, baseless and motivated, Feroz said.
“It is time to find out the sources of income of the TIB and how it spends the money,” he added.
