Mushy takes 200th scalp behind the stumps
Bangladesh's veteran wicket-keeper Mushfiqur Rahim took his 200th scalp behind the stumps today during the second ODI against Zimbabwe at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram.
His tally before the game stood at 198 dismissals with 156 catches and 42 stumpings. The cricketer, who made his ODI debut back in 2006 against Zimbabwe, today reached the landmark of his 200th dismissal by taking the catch of batsman Sean Williams off the bowling of Mohammad Saifuddin. He took three catches behind the stumps today and his tally stands at 157 catches as wicket-keeper and 42 stumpings.
Mushfiqur had also made his debut as Bangladesh wicket-keeper against Zimbabwe at Dhaka on December 2006. The veteran of 194 matches is the wicket-keeper with the highest number of dismissals for Bangladesh. Khaled Masud Pilot, who played 126 matches, is ranked second with 126 dismissals.
