Dhaka South City Corporation broke and dug up a portion of the road for drainage work on KM Das Lane in Old Dhaka around four months ago, and seems to have forgotten about it. Instead of using the footbridge to cross the road, a woman rather chooses a dangerous and laborious way -- she first negotiates her way through a stream of moving vehicles, and then takes the trouble of climbing up on the base of the over-bridge's pillar through barbed wires.
