What got you interested in web series?
The concept of cinema is changing with time. I want to tell stories, whatever the medium it maybe through; if virtual reality is the next big thing, I will venture on it too.

For now, it is the easiest medium to reach out to the mass. The freedom is immense, and it is the most convenient platform to exercise it. The financial matter is also simple and straight. These contents will also be archived in HD quality for future reference.
Is the content making different from that of a film?
There are, of course, slight differences. For example the impact of a drone shot would not be the same as that in a cinema hall. Every medium has its benefits, and the content making shifts accordingly.
Tell us more about your productions for iflix.
The web trio is directed by me and it will be aired this month. Bondhu is a political story, Shohor is a personal story for me, and Bhalobasha is how I see platonic relationships in my surroundings.
Do you have any suggestions for the web platforms in Bangladesh?
Web platforms will be successful only if they are subscription-based. It is a whole new dimension, which needs to be well curated in order to gain any effectiveness.
