'Aquaman' to surface at Star Cineplex today

DC Comics fans worldwide can finally take a dive to enjoy the much anticipated Jason Momoa starrer Aquaman. It is the sixth instalment in the DC Extended Universe, and is directed by James Wan. The story revolves around the half-human prince of Atlantis, Arthur Curry, played by Jason Momoa. He is the heir to the underwater kingdom of Atlantis and must face his half-brother King Orm. Arthur needs to prove himself and save his people before the power-hungry brother unites the seven underwater kingdoms against the world on the surface.

Besides Jason Momoa, the cast of the Warner Bros film includes Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, Willem Dafoe, Nicole Kidman amongst others. Aquaman had a world premiere in London on November and is slated for release internationally today. The Dhaka audience will get to experience the film on the same day at Star Cineplex.
