Chinese New Year at InterContinental Dhaka

One of the biggest cultural festivals in the world, the Chinese New Year is here at InterContinental Dhaka. Diners can savour a flavoursome Chinese themed buffet at its all day dining restaurant "Elements" from 5 February to 8 February, 2019.

InterContinental Dhaka will decorate its restaurants "Café Social" and "Elements" with Chinese lucky red artefacts, which will be installed in the hotel landing to bring a Chinese festive look at InterContinental Dhaka. It will also depict a small China Town inside the lobby, with Chinese lanterns, fans, red couplets with Chinese wishes. Guests will also find two red dragons to welcome them at "Elements" restaurant.

At "Elements," the all-day dining will present a dedicated Chinese corner where diners will find dishes like whole steamed fish, crispy Chinese duck, shrimp chow mein, beef and broccoli with red peppers, Kung Pao chicken, Cantonese fried rice and many more. Specially prepared Chinese hot and sour soup will be served on those days, along with Chinese steam and pan fried dumplings. In the regular stations, there will be freshly prepared sushi and specially cut sashimi. Regular Asian, Continental and desi Indian station will also serve delicious items to provide a proper fusion taste.

Dinner price for "Chinese New Year" will be Tk 4,500 (all inclusive of tax and service charge) per person. Also, special card offers are available for this festival.
