Sundarbans Day observed

Green activists observed the Sundarbans Day in Bagerhat today.

Marking the day, the activists brought out a procession parading the main roads in the town, reports our local correspondent.

They also chanted slogans for saving the world’s largest mangrove forest Sundarbans, located in the southwestern part of Bangladesh.

Bagerhat Press Club and Save the Sundarbans Foundation jointly organised the programme.
