Tigers seek prayers for Chawkbazar victims
Players from the Bangladesh cricket team sought prayers for the victims of the fire that erupted at Dhaka's Chawkbazar area, leading to a scores of people being injured and a reported death toll of 70 people.
The Tigers are in New Zealand but players like Tamim Iqbal, Mahmudullah Riyad, Rubel Hossain and others grieved for the victims and posted on their Facebook, seeking help for the injured.
Following the conclusion of the ODI series, players Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Shafiul Islam and Mohammad Saifuddin boarded a 12:00 pm (NZ Time) flight today. Rubel Hossain and Sabbir Rahman are expected to fly tomorrow for Bangladesh. The rest of the squad will remain there for the Test series scheduled to begin on February 28.
