Steelcase to transform workspace landscape

Steelcase, a global leader in office furniture and innovative workspace solutions, formally announced their entry in Bangladesh on 14 March, 2019. The showroom opened in Dhaka with demonstrations of a range of latest product innovations by Steelcase. In particular, the Turnstone Buoy, an innovative little seating arrangement that is slightly tiled, and as the name suggests- looks like a buoy, was quite interesting to observe! This particular 'seat' is designed to combat the negative effects of the typical sedentary workstyle as it allows one to swivel and tilt as they prefer.

The showroom itself showcases a multitude of seating and collaboration modules that are necessary for the growing business scene. The showroom has opened its doors to local and international businesses in Bangladesh, and is meant to provide comprehensive workplace research, latest trends and an in-depth knowledge quotient from around the globe.

Praveen Rawal, Managing Director, India and South-East Asia at Steelcase, and his team, while demonstrating the various seating arrangements and options, gave interesting and fact-filled insights to the products. Rawal expressed optimism for the brand to grow in this region in particular.
