Fire at Jatrabari building under control

Nine units of firefighters brought under control a fire which broke out at a seven-storey building in Jatrabari of Dhaka tonight.

The flames irrupted at an electronics shop on the ground floor of the building around 12:00am in Kajla area, police told The Daily Star.

Most of the residents were evacuated from the building, the law enforcers said.

The firefighters were able to brought the flames under control after nearly an hour and a half.
