Actor Saleh Ahmed passes away
Noted actor Saleh Ahmed breathed his last at Apollo Hospital in Dhaka yesterday. He was admitted to the hospital after his health took a turn for the worse, informs Ahsan Habib Nasim, the general secretary of Obhinoy Shilpi Sangha. The actor was laid to rest at Uttar Khan, Dhaka. Saleh Ahmed’s maternal cousin, renowned actor Ahsanul Haque Minu confirmed the news.
Saleh Ahmed was known for his roles in Humayun Ahmed’s Srabon Megher Din and Kothao Keu Nai. He also frequently collaborated with directors Salahuddin Lavlu and Monir Hossain Jibon for different television projects. He last appeared in Putul, a tele-fiction directed by Tareque Khan.
