Ishita is well known in the entertainment industry as both an actor and a model. She was also the winner of ‘Notun Kuri’, a national talent competition for children. In a recent interview with Star Showbiz, she shared her views on fashion.

What is your style mantra?

I don’t really have a style mantra, but I always like dressing comfortably.

Who is your favourite style icon?

I don’t have any style icons. I generally dress according to the weather and how I am feeling on that particular day.

Who is your favourite fashion designer?

I really don’t have a go-to fashion designer or brand.

What is your regular everyday wear and party wear like?

When I’m in a hurry, I might opt for a top paired with jeans. However, I mostly wear cotton sarees on a daily basis. Even when I attend events, I like draping myself in a fancy saree.

What are your favourite accessories?

I would have to say bangles are my favourite.

Is there any accessory or makeup product which always completes your look?

Kajol is a product I always use, no matter what kind of look I’m going for.

If you had to choose an accessory that you would never need to wear again, what would you choose?

I would choose necklaces since I am not a big fan of them.

What is a fashion trend you dislike?

I dislike any trend which focuses on velvet, as I personally dislike the fabric.

What fashion trend is your favourite?

I would say any trend involving cotton clothes are my favourite.

What fashion message would you like to give to the readers?

I would like to  ask the readers to be themselves and not follow the trends blindly, and also to experiment with different trends only if they feel it will suit them.
