Khaleda’s health has improved: BSMMU
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s health has improved in the last few days and she is now doing well, said Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Director Brig Gen Dr AK Mahbubul Hoque.
Khaleda is receiving the treatment provided by the BSMMU doctors and she has not been diagnosed with any new disease during her stay in the hospital since April 1.
The BNP chief is also observing fast during this month of Ramadan, he added.
Khaleda is being administered insulin shots and is also taking oral medication for diabetes.
Khaleda was shifted to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University from jail on April 1 with high blood sugar level and pain in joints due to arthritis.
