Bangla Nattyadal’s ‘Megh’ to be staged at BSA tomorrow
Popular theatre troupe, Bangla Nattyadal, is set to stage the twelfth show of their play, Megh, at the Studio Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA), at 7 pm tomorrow.
The play is written by celebrated writer Utpal Dutt and directed by H M Shohiduzzaman, the director and secretary general of Bangla Nattyadal. The plot of the play revolves around Samaresh Sanyal, a famous novelist of Kolkata who recently recovered from schizophrenia.
Abid Ahmed designed the set and Nasir Ahmed Durjoy is behind the light and music. The cast of the play includes Abid Ahmed, H M Shohiduzzaman, Subarna Mir, Afsana Akter Juthi, Selim Bohurupi, Liton Khan, Nasir Ahmed Durjoy and Syed Golam Mortaza.
