The ones you don’t see

I am a Pangolin. Humans have killed most of my kind. My burrows are home to dozens of other species. If you lose me, you lose many others.

I am an Asian Giant Tortoise. I will grow to be the largest of my kind in Asia. Some trees need me to process their seeds in my gut for them to grow. Without me, these fruit trees will disappear.

I am a Hoolock Gibbon. Lawachara is all that is left of my home. My life is spent high in the trees, but your roads still scare me.

I am a vulture. My kind has disappeared faster than any other species ever has. You know how to easily stop this, but you won’t.

I am a harmless Vine Snake. The forests are my home, and they need me just as I need them. I did not mean to scare you.

I was an Asian elephant. My family has been using these lands longer than you have, but I am no longer welcome. I was hungry and your mangos were the only food I could find. I didn’t mean to upset you.

I am wildlife. Your vehicles go through my home and kill my children. I wish you would try to help me as I have helped you.

I am the forest. I give you water, I give you life. Will you help me now as I have helped you for thousands of years? Please support those who protect me and want to give me back my wildlife.
