Police instructed to rescue missing Mohona TV journalist: Home Minister

Home Minister Assaduzzaman Khan Kamal today said that he has directed Gulshan police to take immediate steps to rescue missing Mohona TV journalist Moshiur Rahman. 

"I've spoken with (Gulshan Division) Deputy Commissioner Mostak Ahmed and ordered him to immediately find out the missing journalist," he said in a programme at Karwan Bazar in Dhaka.

The minister hoped the journalist would be rescued soon.

 Moshiur went missing on Saturday evening when he was returning home from Gulshan-1 after meeting his uncle.

 A general diary was later filed at Gulshan Police Station. 

Moshiur filed a complaint with Pallabi police on July 22, a day after receiving a death threat.
