Your favourite stand up comedian?
Hands down, Ahmad Ashik. If you haven’t checked him out, go to his shows and you’ll know why.
What made you take up stand up comedy?
Look, there is no shortage of bad and depressing news if you live here. I wanted to make people smile, and I hope I’ve been able to do that until now.
Do you listen to music?
Of course I do. I’ve been listening to Prateek Kuhad a lot lately. He is amazing.
If you weren’t a comedian, what would you be?
I would be a lawyer. In fact, I am going to the UK to pursue my higher studies in law!
Which video of yours is your favourite?
The one in which I first starred as the character ‘Bablu’. I had no idea that people would love this character so much.
Do you have any advice for an upcoming comedian?
The secret is to never give up, and to be in it for yourself.
