Guilty Pleasure

Actor Deepika Padukone has made a place for herself in the entertainment industry with numerous super-hit films. Her striking good looks and versatile acting prowess got her to the top as one of the highest-paid actors in Bollywood. In an interview for a fashion magazine, Deepika was asked how she felt about being the highest-paid actor in the Hindi film industry.  Deepika said that she feels guilty about it. She believes that it is her films and stories that should be talked about; the other parameters are just secondary. On the work front, Deepika will next be seen in Chhapaak, which she produced herself, and has been directed by Meghna Gulzar. The film is based on the life of acid attack survivor, Laxmi Agarwal. Deepika will be seen playing the leading role opposite Vikrant Massey. The film is slated for a release on January 10, 2020.
