Two people, who were injured when a train rammed into another in Brahmanbaria on November 12, died in Dhaka and Sylhet yesterday, rising the death toll to 18.

The victims were identified as Tara Horizon, 45, wife of Shankar Horizon of Maizdi Horizon Colony in Noakhali and Dholai Miah, 65, of Bublakhal area of Habiganj Sadar upazila.

Among the victims, Tara Horizon died at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka last night, our Brahmanbaria correspondent reports quoting Shyamal Kanti Das, officer-in-charge (OC) of Akhaura Railway Police Station.

While, Dholai Miah succumbed at ICU of Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital yesterday afternoon, reports our Sylhet correspondent quoting a physician.

Dholai Miah suffered severe injuries in his head and other parts of his body, said Dr Abul Kalam Azad, deputy director of the hospital.

Sixteen people were killed and 73 injured as Dhaka-bound Turna Nishita Express from Chattogram rammed Chattogram-bound Udayan Express from Sylhet at Mondobhag Railway Station in Kasba upazila of Brahmanbaria on November 12.
