Old Superhero, New Avatar
American actor Michael B Jordan recently pitched an idea for a new take on our beloved superhero, Superman, to Warner Bros. As the idea is farfetched, it has yet to receive approval for the making of a new Superman movie. According to Variety, despite reports of a reboot, there was no script or director attached to Jordan's pitch. It has also been reported that the film will not hit the theatres before 2023 as Jordan is busy with the list of upcoming projects, as well as Warner Bros. However, our old superhero actor Henry Cavill is not yet done playing Superman in the DC Universe. He said in an interview, "The cape is in the closet." He added, "That's important to me. There's a lot of justice to be done for Superman. The status is: You'll see." Cavill's statement came as Warner Bros refrained from announcing any new film starring the British actor since its decision to revamp the plan for the DC Extended Universe, following Justice League's flop.
