Singapore Airlines adds Airbus A350-900 aircraft
Singapore Airlines, one of the leading airlines in the world, has introduced brand new Airbus A350-900 aircraft on Dhaka-Singapore route to give passengers a more comfortable and inflight entertainment journey.
Singapore Airlines is the first airlines that is operating A350-900 aircraft from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, George Robertson, general manager of Singapore Airlines, Bangladesh, told reporters at a press conference at a hotel in Dhaka, today.
The A350-900 aircrafthaving 303 seats including 40 business class will start operating weekly seven flights on Dhaka-Singapore route from February 1.
The A350-900 aircraft will replace existing A330 aircraft which had 285 seats including 30 seats in business class.
Along with A350-900 aircraft, the airlines will also use Boeing 772J having 271 seats including 26for business class seats, to operate its weekly 10 flights on Dhaka-Singapore route, the airlines company said.
The A350-900 features higher ceilings, larger windows, an extra-wide body delivering more space and comfort as well as lighting designed to reduce jetlag.
There will be no change in ticket price for the new aircraft on this route. For economy class the ticket price will start from Tk around 29,000. For Business class, the price will start from Tk 1, 25,000.
