Mymensingh Zila Shilpakala Academy’s 46th anniversary celebrated

Marking the 46th founding anniversary of Mymensingh Zila Shilpakala Academy, a day-long programme was organised at its auditorium, recently. Deputy Commissioner of Mymensingh, Md Mizanur Rahman inaugurated the programme as chief guest. District Cultural Officer, Arzu Parves, delivered the welcome address at the event, hosted by Sonia Jahan Moni and Sarwar Jahan.  

Additional District Commissioner (Education and ICT) Samor Kanti Basak, Ustad Bijon Kumar Topder, Saiful Islam Dudu, Dr H A Golandaj Tara, freedom fighter Abdur Rouf, Shah Saiful Islam Pannu and journalist Nazib Ashraf spoke on the inaugural session, among others.

The day began with a colourful rally and concluded with a cultural programme. A discussion was also organised after the inaugural ceremony.
