YODA keeps on moving

Yoda, one of the biggest online marketplaces for verified tutors in Bangladesh, had an eventful year in 2019. Yoda has achieved the milestone of adding 5000+ verified tutors on their platform with 2200+ tuition connections. Besides winning the BASIS National ICT Award, Yoda has introduced a new virtual whiteboard technology that enables students to participate in their virtual lessons and interact with highly qualified tutors in real-time. This technology is called "Whiteboard Audio Visual Environment", or WAVE for short. Consequently, students can gain access to quality education right in the comfort of their homes, eradicating the need for endless hours wasted on the country's jam-packed roads and the chaos of crowded classrooms. The teaching sessions can also be recorded so students can review them afterward at their own leisure or for future reference. Currently, this leading-edge technology is undergoing alpha testing with selective tutors under Yoda and will be launched very soon.

In the coming years, Yoda plans to eliminate the exploitation of tutors by the money-hungry sharks in the tuition industry and envisions a Bangladesh transformed through quality education, paving the path towards the fourth industrial revolution.
