Mohakhali building fire under control

The fire that broke out at a highrise in the city's Mohakhali area this afternoon has been brought under control.

Six units of firefighters brought the fire under control around 4:5pm, said Ershad Hossain, a duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters.

The fire originated around 2:45pm on the sixth floor of the nine-storey building, he said.

No casualty was reported.
