The government has decided to appoint Sultana Laila Hossain as the next ambassador of Bangladesh to the Kingdom of Morocco.

Laila is currently serving as the consul general in Bangladesh Consulate General, Los Angeles.

She will replace Ambassador Md Monirul Islam, who has been appointed as the inaugural ambassador to Ethiopia, said a foreign ministry press release.
