1,804 Rohingyas reach Bhasan Char from Ctg

A total of 1,804 Rohingyas reached Bhasan Char in Hatiya upazila of Noakhali from Chattogram this morning.

The second batch of Rohingyas, from 428 families, started their journey from Chattogram Boat Club on navy ship at 9:15am.

Earlier, they reached Chattogram from camps in Ukhia and Teknaf of Cox's Bazar and stayed last night in the port city.

The Rohingyas, who wanted to go to Bhasan Char voluntarily, were taken to Chattogram on buses amid presence of law enforcers yesterday.
