Australia’s Monash College & Eduko Bangladesh to provide online training for all Bangladeshi teachers
Australian institution Monash College in partnership with Eduko Pathways, Bangladesh is organising a teacher training workshop on 12 February 2021 to provide online training to all school and college teachers in Bangladesh. The workshop is supported by the Australian Trade and Investment Commission, Australian Government. The Daily Star is the sole media partner for this workshop.
The teacher training workshop would allow educators to gain in-depth understanding of the area of explicit instructions. The workshop would showcase various applications of explicit instructions in the virtual classroom, including modelling, scaffolding, prompting, language adjustment or combinations of these. Better techniques to optimise student learning, information processing, and how students demonstrate what they have learned, matching their readiness level, interests and preferred mode of learning are some of the key highlights of this workshop.
This program is the inaugural workshop in a global series of world-class training and development sessions that Eduko Pathways Bangladesh plans to bring to the educators and students of Bangladesh. All teachers successfully completing this 1-hour virtual workshop will obtain joint certification from Monash College & Eduko Bangladesh.
Teachers from both public and private schools in Bangladesh can join the workshop without any participation fee.
