"The Food Puzzle" crowned champions of TrailBlazer 3.0
TrailBlazer, the signature event of Bangladesh Agricultural University Career Club takes place with the participation of the students of Bangladesh Agricultural University funded by the Dutch project "Development of an Entrepreneurial Eco-System at BAU". This is one of the most celebrated programs in BAU which is nurturing potential entrepreneurs within the campus since its introduction by BAUCC in 2018. Following the tradition of previous years, TrailBlazer 3.0 was presented by BAUCC this year. The business case battle started on 5th January, 2020 and continued till 27th of February, 2020 concluded with the finals and ending ceremony on the same day. The event mostly took place online unlike the finals which took place offline in BAU campus on the 27th.
The finals took place in Gallery-02, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Bangladesh Agricultural University. The program was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Lutful Hassan, vice chancellor of BAU who was the chief guest of the finals as well. Moreover, Professor Dr. A. K. M. Zakir Hossain, advisor of student affairs of BAU; Professor Dr. Md. Abu Hadi Nur Ali Khan, director of BAURES and Professor Dr. Mohammad Mahir Uddin the recently appointed proctor of BAU was present at the event as special guest. The program was led by Dr. Md. Hamidul Islam President of the event and president of BAUCC as well.
The final battle was among five top teams who previously excelled through previous rounds. The finals were judged by Mohammad Saidur Rahman, Sumana Saha and Surajit Sarkar (Duronto) who proved to be experts in their field. Although it wasn't an easy job for the qualified judges to pick the winners, they in the end managed to pick the top teams who had proven their skills as participants. The winner, first runner up and second runner up are respectively "The Food Puzzle", "The Aestheticos", "Team Imposter" who got a whooping amount of 1000 euros as prize and an incentive for implementing their business idea into the real world.
The entire program was associated with BYLC, YSSE and EMK as strategic partners; BYLCx and Bohubrihi as E- learning partners; Daily Star, Financial Express & Roar বাংলা as media partners; Safe Foods as food partner; Learning Bangladesh as youth engaging partner; Youth opportunity as outreach partner; Dhaka FM as radio partner and finally Women Cycling Club-BAU and BAULC as club partners.
