Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain yesterday (Monday) reconstituted jurisdictions of 17 High Court benches, as both the Appellate and High Court divisions of the Supreme Court will reopen tomorrow (Wednesday) after a 12-day annual vacation.

Among the 17 HC benches, 15 are two-member (division) and two are one-member (single bench) benches.

With these, a total of 52 HC benches will hear and dispose of cases, SC sources said.
