Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) President Abdul Matin Khasru, who has been infected with Covid-19, was shifted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of Dhaka Combined Military Hospital (CMH).

"Sir (Abdul Matin Khasru) was taken to ICU on Sunday night after his sodium level had come down. Now, he is doing well. He has no breathing or kidney problems. The medical board will examine him later today and will take the necessary decision," Md Mohin Miah, personal assistant to Abdul Matin Khasru MP, told The Daily Star at 12:10am today.

The Supreme Court lawyer and former Awami League law minister was admitted to CMH on March 16 after he was diagnosed with Covid-19.

Matin Khasru was elected president of SCBA for the next year in an election held on March 11.
