Strange how people part;

Like dried petals fall apart.

Each headed towards satisfaction,

Memories stay, as the only distraction.

In fact, it only lasts for a moment.

With a blurred vision they depart,

Sliding deeper into the crowd 

Goodbyes are best kept short.
