Police have sought 10-day remand for businessmen Nasir U Mahmud and Tuhin Siddique Omi each, in a case filed by actress Pori Moni over attempted rape and murder.

Kazi Mainul Islam, officer-in-charge of Savar Model Police Station, confirmed the development to The Daily Star this afternoon.  

Police filed a petition to Dhaka Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, seeking 10-day remand for each.

The court is yet to hear the petition, reports our Savar correspondent. 

Police arrested five people, including Nasir and Omi, yesterday after Pori Moni filed the case with Savar Police Station.
