The Shimulia ferry ghat in Munshiganj sees a huge rush of passengers on the weekend yesterday as people from southern districts are heading towards the capital breaching health safety rules. The situation was almost similar at Banglabazar ferry ghat in Madaripur across the Padma. A total of 10 BIWTC ferries carried passengers and vehicles on the Shimulia-Banglabazar route throughout the day.
