US-Bangla launches Dhaka-Male flight
US-Bangla Airlines has officially launched flight operations on the Dhaka-Male route.
State Minister for Civil Aviation Mahbub Ali inaugurated the flight operation as the chief guest at the Domestic Terminal Building of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport yesterday.
Shiruzimath Sameer, Maldivian high commissioner; and Air Cdre Sadikur Rahman Chowdhury, member of Civil Aviation Authority (Operations and Planning), attended the programme as special guests.
US-Bangla MD Mohammed Abdullah Al Mamun presided over the inaugural programme.
The inaugural flight was conducted with a 164-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Initially, three flights will be operating for Male from Dhaka every week.
The minimum airfare including all taxes and surcharges has been fixed at Tk 29,508 for one-way and Tk 45,545 including return.
