Dangerman Devon Conway was dismissed in a dramatic fashion as New Zealand find themselves in a spot of bother against Bangladesh in their second innings on 68 for two at Tea on the fourth day of the first Test at the Bay Oval.

The Kiwis have faced 29 overs so far and trail by 62 runs.

Ebadot got the prized wicket of Conway, striking the first innings' centurion in the pads in the 25th over, after which the ball went to gully region and into the diving hands of Shadman Islam. The umpire had given not out to the leg before appeal but Mominul went for the review, both for the lbw and catch. The replay made it evident that Conway got an inside edge and thus he had to depart from a catch dismissal.

Conway departed after scoring 13 off 40 deliveries. Ross Taylor, playing his last Test series, was greeted at the crease with a huge cheer from the crowd. However, Ebadot welcomed the batter with a sharp bouncer that hit Taylor on the gloves as he tried to duck.

Off-spinner Mehedi Hasan Miraz almost had opener Will Young in the 24th over, before the one in which Conway was dismissed. A superbly flighted delivery from Miraz got an inside edge from Young and the ball went on to narrowly miss the stumps, and beyond the reach of wicketkeeper Liton Das. Young is unbeaten on 32 off 94 balls.

Miraz has bowled with precision, conceding only eight runs from as many overs.
