Biman to increase Kathmandu flights from March 28
Biman Bangladesh Airlines has increased the number of weekly flights in Kathmandu, Nepal amid a growing number of passengers in the Himalayan country.
From March 28, the national flag carrier will operate five weekly flights instead of three, Anisur Rahman, country manager of Biman Bangladesh Airlines in Nepal, told The Daily Star.
The flight will depart from Dhaka on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, Anisur Rahman added.
He also said due to Covid-19 situation becoming normal at present, the number of holidaymakers from Bangladesh to Nepal is growing in recent days.
Besides, no PCR test is required before boarding from Dhaka or after arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport, sources in Biman said.
