The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) revealed today that Argentina games are most in demand when it comes to the number of ticket applications submitted by Bangladesh fans for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

"We have got an initial idea from FIFA that we are going to receive 200 to 250 tickets from them but the exact number will be confirmed by May 12," said BFF general secretary Abu Nayeem Sohag today.

"So far, we have received 447 applications in which maximum applicants expressed their desire to secure more than one ticket.

"The demand for the Argentina matches is high," he added.

On last Friday, FIFA revealed information on ticket demand for the upcoming World Cup, scheduled to begin in November and according to the world's football governing body, 23.5 million ticket requests were filed from across the world during the most recent random selection draw sales period, which ended on April 28. According to data, the global demand for Argentina was also the highest.
