Actor Prabhas, of "Bahubali" fame, has stopped shooting for his upcoming Prashanth Neel directorial film "Salaar". Reportedly, the actor had recently undergone a minor surgery and is currently in recovery.
Before starting on his upcoming projects, the actor took off to Spain, where he was scheduled for his surgery.
While major media outlets have reported that Prabhas is currently resting for his recovery, some other outlets have put forward a different reason for the cancellation of the shoot. The actor, who was seen very fit during his recent film, "Radhe Shyam", has gained weight. As the KGF famed director does not intend to compromise in any manner for his projects, Prabhas has been told to get back in shape before he can start shooting for "Salaar" according to some reports.
According to various Indian news outlets, Radha Krishna Kumar, the director of "Radhe Shyam", used computer-generated imagery (CGI) to make the actor seem fit on the silver screen. However, his 'unfit' physique disappointed fans during the promotion of the film.
While the actual reason is still vague, the news confirmed that the shooting for "Salaar" has been cancelled. Alongside "Salaar", Prabhas has also been in talks for "Adipurush", "Project K", and "Spirit". The actor is looking to wrap up these pending projects before taking on any new roles.
