The Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JPT) was officially launched on June 26 at Nascent Gardenia Hotel in Dhaka. JPT is a Computer Based Test of Japanese language certification recognised by the Ministry of Justice Immigration Services Agency of Japan. JPT is implemented by Kaicom Solutions Japan BD Co. Ltd. in Bangladesh with the support of Daffodil International Academy (DIA).

The event was inaugurated by the chief guest, secretary of Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Dr Ahmed Munirus Saleheen in presence of the Japanese ambassador ITO Naoki, where JICA Bangladesh's chief representative HAYAKAWA Yuho, and founder & chairman of Daffodil Family & Daffodil International Academy Dr Md. Sabur Khan as special guests. 

JPT Japan Executive Committee president KITADA Hideji, JETRO Dhaka Office chief representative ANDO Yuji, and BEZA joint secretary Md. Hasan Arif were the guests of honour.

Daffodil Family CEO Mohammad Nuruzzaman, and Kaicom Solutions Japan BD Co. Ltd. founder and CEO Anjan Das signed the agreement on behalf of their respective institutions.

Distinguished guests and key accomplices from higher officials from Japan and Bangladesh government, university professors, JPT delegates from Japan, Japanese Language School CEO in Bangladesh, business leaders and entrepreneurs were also present.

From July 2022 the first JPT Exam will start in Bangladesh. The JPT will create various opportunities and enhance a strong bilateral relationship between Japan and Bangladesh.

Inauguration ceremony was followed by a memorandum of understanding (MoU) contract between Kaicom and Daffodil International Academy.
