Craze for ‘Hawa’ persists, tickets for this week sold out
The much-anticipated film, "Hawa" hit theatres today, being shown in 24 cinema halls across the country. The tickets for the first show have already been sold out, with advance tickets for the next seven days also being sold out according to the reports.
Reports have also mentioned that many people returned empty handed from Narayanganj's Cinemascope, after being unable to procure tickets for first day. At the same time, many could not even get tickets for the first week of "Hawa". As a result, the hall authorities have started selling advance tickets for the next week of shows, in an attempt to satisfy the audience's demand. The hall authorities also mentioned that there is no way for them to offer more shows of "Hawa".
Similarly, Bogura's Modhuban Cineplex, even with its 345 seats, has already sold out tickets for the first and second day of shows. Their counters were filled with people trying to buy tickets, and the hall authorities have not been able to provide the number of shows needed to meet the level of craze for Mejbaur Rahman Sumon's debut directorial project.
Since Modhuban Cinema Hall's opening, "Hawa" has set the record for the most number of advanced tickets sold.
