Bangladesh gave a strong reply to Zimbabwe after losing the T20 series opener yesterday, with Mosaddek Hossain Saikat running the show in Harare yesterday.

Zimbabwe were 41 for five after nine overs.

Mosaddek had the home side, who chose to bat first, in trouble right from the first ball as the right-handed off-spiner removed Regis Chakabva for naught. Mosaddek went to dismiss Wessle Madhevere (4) in the same over and demolish the Zimbabwean top order – dismissing Craig Ervine (1), Sean Williams (8) and Milton Shumba (3) one by one -- in his full quota of four overs, which he bowled on the trot.

With figures of five for 20 runs in four overs, while boasting 15 dot balls as well, Mosaddek, who had only taken seven wickets in the 19 T20Is prior, became the fourth Bangladesh bowler to take a fifer in the T20Is, following Shakib Al Hasan, Mustafizur Rahman and Elias Sunny.
