Flights resume at Ctg, Cox’s Bazar, Barishal airports
Flight operations have resumed at Chattogram's Shah Amanat International Airport, Cox's Bazar Airport, and Barishal Airport at 12pm today (October 25, 2022) after 21 hours.
The Civil Aviation Authority confirmed the development to The Daily Star.
Chattogram, Cox's Bazar and Barishal airports were closed for 21 hours -- from 3pm yesterday (October 24, 2022) to 12pm today -- due to the inclement weather caused by cyclone Sitrang.
As a result, 60 flights of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, US Bangla and NOVOAIR on domestic routes were cancelled, the concerned airlines told The Daily Star yesterday.
