Ctg, Cox's Bazar, Barishal airports to remain shut for 21hrs

Chattogram, Cox's Bazar and Barishal airports will remain closed for 21 hours -- from 3pm today to 12pm tomorrow -- due to the inclement weather due to the cyclone Sitrang.

Chattogram Airport Director Wing Commander Farhad H Khan, Joydev Kumar Biswas, aerodrome officer, Cox's Bazar Airport and an official of Barishal airport confirmed this to The Daily Star

Cyclone Sitrang, currently located around 495 kilometre South-Southwest of Payra port and advancing towards the coast at a speed of 15 km, will cross between Barishal and Chattogram near Khepupara by tomorrow (October 25, 2022) morning, the met office said.
