Taskin relays age-old wisdom ahead of Pakistan clash
Nobody will deny one fact that fast bowler Taskin Ahmed has become most entertaining Bangladesh player in the ongoing T20 World Cup in Australia.
It's not only because he so far bagged eight wickets from four matches but the way he exploited the Australian conditions made him the undisputed leader of Bangladesh pace attack.
After a heart-breaking five-run defeat to India in the previous match, Bangladesh team management was looking forward to clinch a victory against Pakistan in the last group match tomorrow.
Bangladesh team technical consultant Sridharan Sriram already expressed his optimism by saying that his team was capable of beating Pakistan.
And without any doubt, he will be looking forward to a bowler like Taskin to make it happen.
Taskin himself seemed geared up for the Pakistan challenge by putting aside their heart-rending loss to India as he depicted his sentiment by posting a popular saying on social media.
"Failure is not the opposite of success, it's part of the success," Taskin wrote on Facebook today, ahead of Bangladesh's Pakistan encounter tomorrow in Adelaide. The match will start from 10am Bangladesh Time.
The pacer already provided enough evidence that he is in perfect rhythm to test the Pakistan batting line-up in their last Super 12 game.
Earlier, Taskin made a perfect start in the tournament as his career-best figures of four for 25 against Netherlands helped Bangladesh to their first-ever win in the Super 12s stage of the competition.
He further excelled with his pace and variation against Zimbabwe as he gave early breakthroughs for the third game in a row and returned impressive figures of 3-19.
Taskin then bowled an economical four-over spell with the new ball where he tested India's high-profile batters at the top.
Despite the Tigers went on to suffer a painful defeat against India in Adelaide, Taskin's post indicates that he is willing to move past the setback and scale greater heights for Bangladesh.
