Through its simulation in FIFA 23, EA Sports has predicted that Argentina will win the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2022. The EA Sports simulator has previously predicted the FIFA World Cup winners in 2010, 2014, and 2018.
Brazil, Argentina, Germany, and France, among others, would easily advance to the Round of 16 based on the simulator's data. FIFA 23's quarterfinals featured some fierce competition, with Germany, the Netherlands, and the United States advanced.
Intriguingly, Brazil avenges their 1-7 humiliating loss to Germany in the FIFA World Cup 2018 quarterfinals by defeating Germany 3-0. The other semifinalists predicted by the EA Sports simulator were Portugal, Argentina, and the United States.
According to the EA Sports FIFA 23 simulator, Brazil and Argentina will play in the finals. The game ended with a 1-0 score, and Lionel Messi scored the game-winning goal.
After scoring the most goals during the competition, EA Sports also picked Lionel Messi to win the Golden Boot. In the simulation, he had scored eight goals, giving him another trophy for his gleaming trophy case.
