'Omar Faruk er Ma' to release on December 

Noted actress Dilara Zaman starrer liberation war-based short film titled "Omar Faruk er Ma", directed by Zahidur Rahman Biplob, is set to release on the month of victory, December. The premiere show of the film will be held at Bangladesh Film Archive on December 3. 

The story of the film revolves around freedom fighter Omar Faruk, and his mother. The film portrays the longing of a mother who is waiting for the return of her child who went to the liberation war. The story follows Omar Faruj who never came back from the war after telling his mother that he would come back soon to eat with her. Later on, when Omar died in the liberation war, his mother couldn't believe it and still waits for her son to return.

Jeet set to star in Sanjoy Samaddar directorial ‘Manush’ 

Sayed Babu played the role of Omar Faruk in the film, while Dilara Zaman played the role of his mother. Apart from this, the film casts Bonna Mirza, Saheed Sharif Khan, Khairul Alam Sabuj and Naznin Hasan Chumki, among others.
