Shakib takes down Rohit, Kohli in his first over
Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan made an immediate impact on the first ODI against India in Mirpur today, removing skipper Rohit Sharma and former skipper Virat Kohli in his very first over.
Shakib, who was brought on in the 11 th over with India 48 for one, removed Sharma with an arm ball which beat the batter all ends up. Tossed up on middle, Rohit was looking for it to turn but that went on with the arm sneaking in between bat and pad.
He then dismissed Kohli with Liton taking a stunner. The ball was tossed up and Kohli looked to push it uppishly to the right of Litton at extra cover. Liton flung to his right to pluck out a ripper of a catch.
India became 49 for three in no time.
