Mehrunisa Siddiqui, the mother of "Sacred Games" actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, recently filed a case against the actor's wife, over reported property disputes. The complaint was registered at the Versova police station in Mumbai.

Aaliya Siddiqui, Nawazuddin Siddiqui's wife, received a summon for questioning at the police station soon afterwards. She took to her Instagram account, writing, "Shocking…my genuine criminal complaints against my husband go unattended by the police. However, I enter my husband's house and a criminal complaint is immediately filed against me within a few hours. Will I ever get justice this way?"

Previously, Aaliya had filed for divorce back in May 2020, accusing her husband of infidelity—according to an interview with Pinkvilla at that time. Moreover, she also filed a police complaint, accusing the actor's family over domestic violence, that same year.

However, Aaliya reversed the divorce filing in 2021, after the couple made amends, deciding to forgo their differences.

Nawazuddin last appeared in Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria starrer, "Heropanti 2".
