Portuguese football legend Cristiano Ronaldo has greeted Bangladesh and Bangladeshi fans on a video that has gone viral on social media on Tuesday.
In the video, which has been uploaded from a Facebook page titled Amitab Deb Nath, Ronaldo is seeing standing alongside a man and greeting Bangladeshis. The 38-year-old footballer shakes his hand and says, "Salam Alaikum Bangladesh. Bye bye."
The video was taken on another man's phone, who was standing next to him. After the salutation, the man thanked Ronaldo, the video showed.
Although the details of the video are not known, it is assumed that expatriate Bangladeshis, who may be working for Ronaldo's current club Al Nassr, have recorded this video and circulated it on social media.
